AMERICA’S MEMBER-MEMBER
TERMS & CONDITIONS, PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND PRIVACY TERMS
Effective Date: April 6, 2026
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT PROVISIONS REGARDING PAYMENT, REFUNDS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, INDEMNIFICATION, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, EVENT MODIFICATIONS, PRIVACY AND OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS.
By accessing an America’s Member-Member website, completing a registration, submitting payment, accepting an invitation, attending an event or otherwise participating in an America’s Member-Member activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms apply to America’s Member-Member (“AMM,” “we,” “us” or “our”), its websites, registration systems and all events organized, administered or promoted by AMM, including Club Qualifiers, State or Regional Finals, the National Final and related activities.
These Terms apply to all registrants, participants, guests and users (“Participant” or “you”).
By completing registration, submitting payment, electronically accepting these Terms or participating in an AMM event, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, the AMM Privacy Policy and all applicable event-specific rules, policies and Terms of Competition.
Electronic acceptance shall constitute a valid signature to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participation is subject to all eligibility requirements established by AMM for the applicable competition.
AMM may verify eligibility, handicap information, club membership, amateur status and other qualifying criteria at any time.
Any false, inaccurate, misleading or materially incomplete information may result in rejection, disqualification or removal without refund.
3. REGISTRATION, PAYMENT AND QUALIFICATION
Registration is not complete until all required information, waivers and payment have been received and accepted by AMM.
AMM may establish and enforce registration deadlines. Failure to complete registration by the applicable deadline may result in forfeiture of a qualifying position.
Qualification grants a team the opportunity to register for the next stage of competition but does not guarantee participation. Participation remains subject to eligibility, payment, field capacity, compliance with AMM rules and final acceptance by AMM.
Where one Participant registers or pays on behalf of a team, each individual Participant remains responsible for separately accepting any required waiver, release, privacy notice or other legal acknowledgment.
Participants authorize AMM and its payment processors to charge all amounts disclosed during registration. Processing fees and other non-refundable charges shall remain non-refundable except where required by law.
AMM may maintain and administer alternate lists in its discretion and may determine alternate eligibility, priority and acceptance deadlines.
4. CLUB QUALIFIERS
Club Qualifiers may be administered independently by participating golf clubs.
Host clubs may establish their own entry, cancellation, refund and operating policies.
AMM shall not be liable for the independent acts, omissions or policies of participating clubs.
5. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS, SUBSTITUTIONS AND MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS
State and Regional Final registrations are subject to the cancellation and refund policy communicated for the applicable event. AMM may establish a date after which all or part of an entry fee becomes non-refundable.
All National Final registrations and entry fees are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by AMM under these Terms.
A Participant’s inability or decision not to attend does not create a right to a refund, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
If one member of a registered National Final team is unable to participate, AMM may permit that player to be replaced by another eligible player. Any replacement must satisfy all applicable eligibility requirements and receive AMM approval. No refund shall be issued as a result of a player substitution.
If both members of a registered National Final team are unable or unwilling to participate, no refund shall be issued. The entry may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another team without AMM’s prior written approval. AMM may offer the vacated position to an alternate team without creating any refund obligation to the original team.
AMM may, in its sole discretion, approve a medical exemption where a medical condition prevents participation. AMM may require reasonable supporting documentation.
If approved, AMM may transfer the applicable entry fee as a credit toward the immediately following National Final. A medical exemption is not a cash refund, has no cash value and may not be sold or transferred. Any difference in the following year’s entry fee shall remain payable by the Participant.
Participants agree to contact AMM regarding any billing dispute before initiating a chargeback. An improper chargeback shall not relieve a Participant of a valid payment obligation.
6. COMPETITION RULES AND TOURNAMENT AUTHORITY
AMM shall determine the applicable format, tee assignments, handicap procedures, scoring procedures, cuts, ties, playoffs and other Terms of Competition.
Unless otherwise modified by Local Rules or Terms of Competition, play shall be governed by the applicable Rules of Golf.
The AMM Tournament Committee shall have final authority over competition-related matters, including eligibility, handicaps, scoring, penalties, substitutions, ties, pace of play and disqualification.
AMM may issue event-specific rules that supplement these Terms.
7. HANDICAP INTEGRITY
Participants are responsible for maintaining an accurate and valid handicap record.
AMM may review a Participant’s current and historical handicap information and may make adjustments where permitted by applicable competition rules and reasonably necessary to protect competitive integrity.
Intentional manipulation, misrepresentation or improper maintenance of a handicap is prohibited.
AMM may disqualify any Participant or team where it reasonably determines that handicap manipulation has occurred. No refund shall be issued following such disqualification.
8. PLAYER CONDUCT
Participants shall conduct themselves in a lawful, respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
AMM may remove or disqualify a Participant for abusive, threatening, fraudulent, dangerous, intoxicated, destructive or materially disruptive conduct, or for any material violation of AMM, host-facility or venue rules.
No refund shall be issued following removal or disqualification for misconduct.
9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Participant acknowledges that golf, travel, transportation, social activities and related event participation involve inherent and other risks, including bodily injury, illness, property damage, permanent disability or death.
Participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all ordinary, inherent and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with participation.
Participant is solely responsible for determining whether Participant is physically capable of safely participating. AMM does not provide medical advice and makes no representation concerning Participant’s fitness to participate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant, on behalf of Participant and Participant’s heirs, representatives, successors and assigns, releases and discharges AMM and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, host facilities, vendors, service providers and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims arising out of or relating to participation in an AMM event.
This release applies, to the maximum extent legally enforceable, to claims arising from the ordinary negligence of a Released Party.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant further agrees not to bring or maintain any claim against a Released Party to the extent such claim has been validly released under these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms releases liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
10. TRAVEL, TRANSPORTATION AND EVENT ACTIVITIES
Unless expressly included, Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, documentation, transportation and related expenses.
Travel delays, cancellations, missed connections or other travel-related issues do not create a right to a refund.
Participants are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Participation in transportation, social, entertainment and nightlife activities is voluntary. Third-party venues and providers may impose their own admission, identification, dress, conduct and safety requirements.
Alcohol consumption is voluntary. Participants are solely responsible for their consumption, conduct and transportation decisions. AMM and participating venues may refuse service or remove a Participant where appropriate.
Participants using golf carts must comply with all applicable laws, manufacturer instructions and course rules and may be responsible for loss or damage caused by negligent, reckless or intentional misuse.
In an emergency, Participant authorizes AMM, venue personnel or emergency responders to seek reasonable emergency assistance where necessary. Participant remains responsible for all resulting medical expenses.
11. WEATHER, EVENT CHANGES AND FORCE MAJEURE
Events may be affected by weather, course conditions or other circumstances.
AMM and the host facility shall determine whether play will continue, be delayed, suspended, shortened, relocated or cancelled.
A Participant’s individual decision not to participate due to weather does not create a refund right.
AMM reserves the right to reasonably modify any aspect of an event, including the venue, course, schedule, format, number of holes, transportation, entertainment, gifting or hospitality.
AMM may declare a competition official after fewer than the originally scheduled number of holes where circumstances reasonably require.
AMM shall not be liable for delay, modification, postponement, relocation or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government action, public-health events, transportation disruption, labor disputes, venue closure or other force majeure events.
If AMM cancels or materially modifies an event, AMM may provide such credit, refund or other remedy as it determines appropriate based on the circumstances, amounts reasonably recoverable and applicable law.
A full refund is not guaranteed except where required by law.
12. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
AMM may use independent third parties to provide services in connection with an event, including golf facilities, hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, entertainment venues, technology providers and other vendors.
Such providers are independent contractors unless expressly stated otherwise.
AMM shall not be responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, negligence or service failures of third-party providers to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. PARTICIPANT PROPERTY AND DAMAGE
Participants are solely responsible for their personal property.
AMM shall not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participant shall be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage or loss caused by Participant’s negligent, reckless or intentional conduct.
14. INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from:
Participant’s breach of these Terms;
Participant’s unlawful, reckless or intentional conduct;
Participant’s damage to property;
Participant’s injury to another person; or
Materially false information provided by Participant.
This obligation shall not apply to liability that applicable law prohibits from being shifted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMM and the Released Parties shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or relating to an event or registration.
Where legally permitted, AMM’s aggregate liability arising from a Participant’s registration shall not exceed the amount paid directly to AMM by that Participant for the applicable event.
AMM makes no guarantee regarding weather, course conditions, third-party performance, sponsor participation, travel arrangements or any particular competitive outcome.
15. SPONSORS, PRIZES AND EVENT BENEFITS
Sponsors, prizes, gifts, promotional items, entertainment and other event benefits are subject to availability and change.
AMM may substitute or modify such benefits where reasonably necessary without creating a refund right.
Prizes are subject to eligibility, verification, applicable law, amateur-status requirements and availability.
Participants are responsible for any applicable tax obligations.
16. MEDIA, PUBLICITY AND RESULTS
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant authorizes AMM and its authorized partners to photograph, film, record and use Participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, club affiliation and event participation for tournament, promotional, editorial, broadcast, archival and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
AMM may publish Participant names, club affiliations, scores, standings, results, qualification status and awards in connection with competition administration and promotion.
17. WEBSITE USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The AMM website and related services may be used only for lawful purposes.

18. PRIVACY POLICY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
AMM’s Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and governs the collection, use, disclosure, retention and protection of personal information.
AMM may collect information reasonably necessary to provide its services and administer events, including identity and contact information, club and handicap information, registration and transaction information, website and device information, event participation information and event media.
Where there is a conflict concerning privacy practices, the Privacy Policy shall control.
19. USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
AMM may use personal information to administer registrations and events, verify eligibility, process payments, communicate with Participants, provide customer service, maintain security, prevent fraud, improve services, comply with legal obligations and send promotional communications where permitted by law.
AMM may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to service providers, host clubs, payment processors, tournament platforms, hotels, transportation providers, sponsors where authorized, professional advisors and government authorities where legally required.
AMM shall not provide unrestricted Participant personal information to sponsors solely by reason of sponsorship.
Information may also be disclosed in connection with a merger, sale, financing or similar business transaction.
20. COOKIES, SECURITY, RETENTION AND CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING
AMM and its service providers may use cookies, analytics tools, pixels and similar technologies to operate and improve the Site, measure usage and support marketing activities where legally permitted.

AMM may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for event administration, business operations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and recordkeeping.
Personal information may be processed or stored outside the jurisdiction in which a Participant resides, including in Canada and the United States, subject to applicable legal requirements.
21. PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent or restriction of certain processing.
Individuals may also have rights to opt out of certain marketing, targeted advertising, sales or sharing of personal information.
California residents and individuals in other jurisdictions may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

AMM may take reasonable steps to verify identity before processing a request.
22. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Individuals under eighteen must obtain parental or guardian authorization where legally required before participating in promotional or contractual activities.
Participants may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time using the applicable unsubscribe mechanism.
Operational communications relating to an active registration or event may still be sent where necessary.
23. NO AGENCY
Participation in an AMM event does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise or fiduciary relationship between Participant and AMM.
24. GENERAL LEGAL PROVISIONS
Failure by AMM to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or AMM’s right to enforce it later.
If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified or severed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Any provisions that by their nature should survive completion of an event shall survive, including payment obligations, releases, indemnification, limitations of liability, privacy obligations and dispute-related provisions.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable event-specific rules and policies, constitute the entire agreement relating to the subject matter addressed herein and supersede prior oral or written representations to the extent permitted by law.
AMM may amend these Terms from time to time. Material amendments affecting an existing registration will be communicated where required by law or reasonably practicable.

Any dispute shall be brought in the jurisdiction designated by AMM to the extent legally enforceable.
