EVENT STRUCTURE
Teams of two (2) playing at 70% handicap in the better-ball, stroke play format.
Throughout the year, players across the United States and Canada can qualify for their State Final by finishing in the top two at their club’s Member-Member event. The top teams at the State Final will then advance to America’s Member-Member Final in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking place October 26–28, 2026, to compete against the nation’s best.
01. CLUB's MEMBER-MEMBER
Your journey starts here. The top two (2) teams from each club’s Member-Member advance to the State Final, bringing them one step closer to America’s Member-Member Final.
- Teams of two (2) eligible players
- All players must have an up-to-date USGA or Golf Canada Handicap
- Top two (2) teams and ties from each club’s Member-Member move on to the State Final
02. STATE Final
The State Finals mark the second stage on the path to earning a place in America’s Member-Member Final. Teams that qualify through their club’s Member-Member event advance to the State Finals, where they’ll compete against the best duos in their state. The top teams will then move on to represent their state at America’s Member-Member Final in Las Vegas, NV.
- 18-hole best-ball format
- A qualified player is not required to maintain the partner they had at a Club Qualifier. They may team up with the partner of their choice, so long as the new partner and team meet the handicap requirements

03. AMERICA'S MEMBER-MEMBER final
October 26-28, 2026
America’s Member-Member Final is the golf trip of a lifetime and will become the highlight of your golfing experiences. America’s Member-Member reaches its pinnacle at the picturesque Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV, October 20–21, 2025. The top teams from across North America will go all in, competing over 36 spectacular holes for their shot at the coveted title of 2026 America’s Member-Member Champions.
Your America’s Member-Member Final Championship Experience includes:
- 54-hole Championship (cut after 36 holes)
- 3 nights’ accommodation at Las Vegas
- Welcome gifts
- Long Drive Competition
- Putting Contests
WHO CAN PLAY
Our team carefully selects premier courses from across the country to participate in America’s Member-Member. Members of participating clubs with an official USGA or Golf Canada Handicap are eligible to compete. It is each player’s responsibility to be familiar with all Handicap Requirements, Rules, and Policies before taking part in the State Final or America’s Member-Member Final.
*Please note: America’s Member-Member is open to amateurs only. PGA Members and Associates, LPGA Members, and other golf professionals are not eligible to participate.
scoring method
To level out the playing field and to reward those who play the best relative to their true ability, the final team score is the team’s net score. We will use 70% of each player’s USGA or Golf Canada Handicap Indexes in computing the final score for the 2-Man Best-Ball. Each player plays his/her own ball, and the team score for each hole is the lowest net score of the two players.

A: Yes. All participants are required to have a valid and active USGA or Golf Canada Handicap Index at the time of registration and through the event. Only official USGA and Golf Canada Handicap Indexes will be accepted at America’s Member-Member events.
A Handicap ID can typically be found on your handicap card or from your golf club. It may also be referred to as a GHIN #, CDGA #, WSGA #, IGA #, Grint #, MyScorecard #, GolfNet # or CCID #.
At its discretion, the America’s Member-Member rules committee reserves the right to make handicap adjustments and player and team disqualifications based upon evidence derived through handicap examinations or evidence of past performance. America’s Member-Member rules committee reserves the right to suspend handicap or rules violators from future tournament participation.
A: Yes. You can request a partner replacement by emailing info@americasmembermember.com
Please note, this option applies only to State Finals, not the National Final. For the Championship, if your partner is unable to participate, you may either forfeit your spot or compete as a single player. NO EXCEPTIONS.
A: There are no minimum handicap requirements for this format given that we consider a team’s handicap in computing the final score. The two (2) team members’ aggregate USGA or Golf Canada Handicap Index cannot be greater than 40.0.
- If a player does not have a verifiable USGA or Golf Canada Handicap, it will be set at 0.
- The Handicap will be calculated where the event will be held.
- Each team member will be playing at 70% handicap in the better-ball, stroke play format.
- A maximum of 18 shots will be awarded towards a player’s handicap.
- If a player is a no-show or is late, his/her partner can still play alone.
- A professional player may not play as part of a team of two (2).
For Example:
- 0.1 + 0.0 = 0.0 (ELIGIBLE)
- 10.8 + 26.8 = 37.6 (ELIGIBLE)
- 22.8 + 30.2 = 53.0 (INELIGIBLE, team aggregate USGA or Golf Canada Handicap Index is greater than 40.0)
All USGA & Golf Canada Indexes must be current and active at the time of registration and through the event. Only official USGA & Golf Canada Handicap Indexes will be accepted at America’s Member-Member events.
At its discretion, the rules committee reserves the right to make handicap adjustments and player and team disqualifications based upon evidence derived through handicap examinations or evidence of past performance. The America’s Member-Member rules committee reserves the right to suspend handicap or rules violators from future participation.
A: Tee decks will be assigned according to one’s age at the time of play. As a rule of thumb, tees will approximately the following yardages per age group:
- 6400 – 6600 yards – Men 18-54
- 6100 – 6300 yards – Men 55-69
- 5000 – 5800 yards – Women / Men 70+
Players with positive handicap indexes will play one tee deck back from their designated age group tees.
